Retardant polyurethane three elements

 

1-- additive flame retardant:
Added in the raw material non-reactive flame retardant, flame retardant to achieve the purpose, which is to use the earliest and most simple and economical method. It can be divided into models and non-models.
Organic phosphorus or halogen flame retardants in general: 1) phosphorus-containing compound combustion, forms a protective layer on the foam surface, so difficult to generate combustible gas, so as to achieve the purpose of flame retardant. 2) a halogen-containing compounds during combustion, to generate hydrogen halide. Hydrogen halide role interrupt the chemical reaction of the combustion process, while it covers the surface of the foam, play the role of isolated oxygen.
Common organic flame retardants: TCEP, TCPP, DMMP.
Conventional inorganic flame retardants are: antimony oxide, aluminum hydroxide, ammonium phosphate, zinc oxide, borates and the like.
2 - Reactive Flame Retardant:
It refers to molecules containing phosphorus, halogen flame retardant elements polyol or isocyanate. Because of the chemical reactions involved in these elements are introduced into the polymer molecule backbone, thus making more durable foam flame retardant.
3 - Structural fire retardant:
Mainly refers to the introduction of the polyurethane foam isocyanurate ring, becoming a polyurethane-modified isocyanurate foam (PIR). Poly isocyanurate foam foam heat resistance than polyurethane, flame resistance through resistance, low smoke when burned.
